There was a lot of talk following the EliteXC on CBS show. In the post fight press conference Brett Rogers called out Kimbo Slice. Then he wrote an open letter again calling out Kimbo. Rogers wants the Kimbo fight and despite Gary Shaw’s reservations it looks like the fight will happen. Michael David Smith reports:
If that was Rogers’ attempt to hype himself up as the next opponent for Kimbo, it worked. Slice appeared on Dan Le Batard’s radio show today and said he’ll fight Rogers next, “probably in October.”
“They called me out, and now they got the fight,” Slice said of Rogers and his camp
I don’t know about this one for Kimbo. It will have good hype and will draw a big crowd. The winner of that fight ought to get “Bigfoot” Silva for the first EliteXC title shot.
