Bad Brad Blackburn was successful in his UFC debut in July against James Giboo, but sustained a hand injury in the process. The former IFL fighter is set to make his return to the octagon at the UFC new year’s eve show dubbed UFC 92. The event will be headlined by the interim heavyweight title match between Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, also coached on this season of the Ultimate Fighter. Blackburn will face off against tough Japanese fighter Ryo Chonan, who is coming off of a split decision win over Roan Carneiro at UFC 88.
This should be a good fight and should help one of these guys climb the ladder in the welterweight divison.
